  • Do not retaliate or reply to the bully(s).
  • Collect evidence to give to the police.

    • not wanting to go to school
    • depression or withdrawing
    • Talk of suicide

If you witness bullying, stand up and speak out! You could save a life!

This is what can happen if we all just speak up and stop the violence.

    “Intimidation”

Intimidation is defined in the dictionary as someone who attempts to make you timid or fearful. They attempt to frighten you to compel you to do thing you do not want or keep you from doing things you do out of fear. This is a problem that should not be ignored and needs to be addressed. Just because there is no physical contact there is still bullying. The threat of physical or verbal abuse is sufficient to convey the intent to the victim.  If you feel that they are being dominated and fear that for your personal safety you need to reach out to someone. If you are scared to say no to someone for fear that they will attack you in any manner you have to say something. There are people to help. Speak to your parents or someone you feel comfortable with. If you are feeling threatened call the police, this is not your fault you need to talk to someone.

Bullying can affect you in many ways. You may lose sleep or feel sick. You may want to skip school. You may even be thinking about suicide. If you are feeling hopeless or helpless or know someone that is, please call the LIFELINE at 1-800-273-TALK (8255)  for more information and a great resource go to:

Social Alienation is mean, people get hurt emotionally and it causes insecurity.

Social Alienation is when your peers make you the out cast. When the bully will exclude you directly from the group.  Most often the bully is aggressive vocally and they intend to hurt the person they are targeting emotionally. This is also why Social Alienation is known as Social Psychology. The goal I to make you psychologically weakened. Most Social Alienation takes places during recess or lunch. However, this can extend into clubs and school activities.

Here are a few ways that bully's use to alienate their victim.

    • Teasing
    • Taunting
    • Spreading gossip (True or false)Spreading rumors (false, intended to make the victim look bad)

If your or someone that you know is being bullied tell a trusted adult. If that does not work and your not comfortable speaking with anyone else PLEASE call the LIFELINE at

"I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion, then it will start a chain reaction of the same. People will never know how far a little kindness can go."
