“Intimidation”

Intimidation is defined in the dictionary as someone who attempts to make you timid or fearful. They attempt to frighten you to compel you to do thing you do not want or keep you from doing things you do out of fear. This is a problem that should not be ignored and needs to be addressed. Just because there is no physical contact there is still bullying. The threat of physical or verbal abuse is sufficient to convey the intent to the victim.  If you feel that they are being dominated and fear that for your personal safety you need to reach out to someone. If you are scared to say no to someone for fear that they will attack you in any manner you have to say something. There are people to help. Speak to your parents or someone you feel comfortable with. If you are feeling threatened call the police, this is not your fault you need to talk to someone.

Bullying can affect you in many ways. You may lose sleep or feel sick. You may want to skip school. You may even be thinking about suicide. If you are feeling hopeless or helpless or know someone that is, please call the LIFELINE at 1-800-273-TALK (8255)  for more information and a great resource go to:
